Anna Button Haff (1795-1828) is a descendant of Matthias Button, the earliest to leave England and come to Naumkeag
(Salem) "on the good ship 'Abigail'" in 1628. He moved to Ipswich in 1639 and Haverhill in 1641 where he died in 1672.
He had 4 wives and 10 kids. Anna's great-grandfather was Asa Kinne, another Revolutionary War veteran.
